Our Story

Hoop Labs is a futuristic laboratory that is owned by an older man who has spent his life primarily giving back to the community because of his own upbringing. Lou (our main character/ always dressed in some variation of a referee), lives in the lab and creates games for people, powered up assets to use in the games, and gives the local community opportunity to play in a series of these games that ultimately earn the players money or power ups to utilize during game play. Where Lou is the face the labs, he’s hardly the brains, admittedly. Insert the brains of the laboratory, the CPU. Unlike the local community thinks, Lou is hardly the lonely man he portrays as the laboratory is ran with a futuristic CPU that takes on its own personality. The dynamic between the CPU and Lou is noteworthy amongst many and there are even antagonists in the city that would love to shut down the laboratory due to its real estate value and tendency to draw the “wrong crowd”. Stories with man and machine like the above can be referenced often. E.g.
